Facebook, Twitter, bye, bye: Part 2 What Happened Next

This is a follow up to Facebook, Twitter, bye, bye. blog.  I thought for sure I had deleted the Twitter account.  Then this happened.

Searching for “marine expeditionary boots” on Google to see what shows up after posting a few blogs and videos on the topic.  This Danner Twitter post is what I found.

There it is in front of me. The reason I started using Twitter. Drive traffic to this blog with hashtags. The issue is the politics, censorship and constant notifications. I figured out the notifications thing but take issue with censorship of any kind. Here I am writing this blog because the search inspired me to do an experiment.

When I clicked on the Danner Post link I realized I still had a Twitter account. That is weird because I was sure it had been deleted. So much for that plan. Anyway that leads me to this experiment with hashtags and Twitter.

All the blogs concerning the boots were posted with two hashtags. I’ll be back in about 24 hours or so and see what happens. -13
