I was determined and prepared that day to do what I had to do. Nothing was going to stop me from getting a shotgun from the family armory and take it to school. I placed a 20 gauge in the carry case and box of shells in a leather bag my dad used at the range, my dad supervising. My plan? Impress my instructor and pass the state sponsored hunter safety course held at our junior high school. Participating students were instructed to bring a firearm with them to demonstrate safety skills taught in the class.
All children should be taught basic firearms skills and the importance and meaning of the Second Amendment. Not that firearms should be feared. Fear is not a natural reaction, fear of firearms is instilled by those with an agenda. I brought a firearm to school and nobody cared. -13

19/SEPT/2019, Miami, FL. Woman stops robbery in progress. Local news is reporting a legally armed female patron of Popeye’s used her firearm to stop a robbery in progress. Footage shows a person on the ground with what appears to be a male standing over the victim removing items from the victims pockets when the Popeye’s female patron points her firearm at the robber then fires. The good Samaritan identified only as Eula states she had to do it to save the victim when she fired into the air to repel the robber that was later detained by police. I usually don’t get political here but sometimes it’s necessary. People calling for “gun control” remind me of the hysteria of World War 2 and Hitler fanatics. First it was books then it was weapons. The Nazis disarmed the Jews for a reason, fear of self defense. If one was educated/trained one would not be so fearful. A recent example is the motorcycle backfire in New York where everyone are subjects of the state with no self defense capabilities so they ran like cockroaches when the lights turn on. Shame on them for letting their constitutional rights being violated by politicians.
Giving up second amendment rights will not make anyone safer, it won’t. It will place one in danger from those who intend to do harm. If people had the ability to defend themselves they wouldn’t need to run like sheep from wolfs. A few Jewish people I met in the 1980’s with number tattoos were very clear why gun registration and confiscation will always lead to trouble.
I don’t believe everyone should be armed, my one bullet video proves that. I do believe that carrying a firearm since 1982 has made me and those around me safer. I’m a person who runs toward danger, not away. Individuals that are frighted of firearms belong in a therapy session to overcome the phobia or in a mental ward safe away from the rest of us who understand our responsibilities as human beings. My safe space is created by my armed presence and nothing else.
It’s the reason the founding fathers wrote the second amendment, it didn’t have anything to do with hunting game. When it comes to freedom there are no compromises nor negotiations, none. Could anti civil rights fear mongering politicians be driving us into another civil war? If so there is only one place for them. -13
Didn’t I mention this kind of response in the past? While I was enjoying the air conditioned comfort of my office, this average, everyday American and his friends were out exercising freedom in Portland, OR. Amazing footage. From where I’m sitting it looks like he could have shot the thug with the baton in self defense. That, would have been boring and risked all those people in the background.
Better than that, the freedom-fighter catches a baton strike with one hand and delivers the K.O. punch with the other. This kind of thing has been going on for a while now but this footage is particularly good. Watch it and you will know why it was worth watching. Especially if you enjoy thugs getting what is so well deserved. It’s all fun and games until somebody gets K.O.’d. Then you call people like me. “medic!” -13
This very short video, less than one minute makes the point that not everyone should own firearms and how important firearms training is. The video is multiple view still images of an unknown caliber round that was discovered on our screened porch the morning after July 4th. It had enough force to impress a flat area on the side and mushroom the tip of the round. The end picked up paint from the floor. It’s is clear to see in the images. I think it would have penetrated skin had it struck someone. Thats all about the video the rest is a rant you might want to skip.
Don’t be the idiot who only fires his gun on New Years eve and July 4th into the air in celebration. If that is you, get training, go to the range and shoot or sell it! Anyone doing dumb shit like firing into the air is too egotistical to be able to handle the responsibility of safely carrying or owing firearms in my opinion.
Every single person I’ve met that would commit such an act has always demonstrated to me they were egotistical and wanted everyone to be scared of them. Wanted everyone to know they owned firearms. Ever met those guys? Shit-talker-know-nothings. They think they’re so good with their firearm they need no training or practice. We know the reason they don’t go is because the facade of bullshit they created won’t stand up to scrutiny at the range.
Once again I’ll be skipping the outdoor activities for the air-conditioned safety of my home. I’ve worked with the military, intimately familiar with some explosions, fireworks are pretty but they don’t compare to real stuff exploding. -13
